The incident occurred on July 15. Volunteer firefighters from Przejęsław:
(...) at 4:37 p.m., we were dispatched to a meadow fire in our locality. Approximately 10 ares were burned.
They added:
The strong wind made the situation more difficult, causing the fire to spread quickly and threatening nearby farm buildings and the forest.
The danger was eliminated. No one was injured. The following units took part in the operation:
- OSP Przejęsław,
- OSP Osiecznica,
- OSP Ławszowa,
- JRG Bolesławiec.
