– Gliniada always makes a tremendous impression on me. It is a beautiful spectacle that conveys the message “We are all made of the same clay,” says starosta Cezary Przybylski. – When I heard that the county office could help produce a report on the American parade in which our Glinoludy were marching, I agreed immediately!
The Glinoludy took part in this year’s Constitution Day Parade on May 3 at the invitation of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, which recognized Gliniada’s promotional and artistic potential. The parade took place in Chicago’s Grant Park. The event is held every year to honor the Polish diaspora’s contribution to the development of the USA.
In June, a report on the event will be available on the County’s website.

In the case of the Glinoludy’s trip to the USA, the support provided by Bolesławiec County consisted of financing a report about the journey. The total production cost was PLN 6,000 gross. Under the agreement with the contractor, Stefańczyk Film Studio Andrzej Stefańczyk, the county has the right to use the resulting documentary in any way, for example online, at trade fairs or on television, making it possible to professionally promote the phenomenon of Gliniada and alternative culture in Bolesławiec County.
