The Volkswagen driver was traveling from the direction of Bolesławiec. As a reader reports:
On a bend in the road, the driver skidded, hit a fence post with the side of the vehicle, then crashed into a concrete fence on the other side of the road and ended up on the property.
Fragments of the concrete fence damaged an Opel parked on the property, shattering its window and damaging its hood. Fortunately, no one else was at the scene at the time. The impact was so powerful that pieces of the concrete fence reached a nearby building, and another car was nearly damaged.
The Volkswagen driver probably significantly exceeded the speed limit. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
A medical rescue team is at the scene. The police will determine the exact causes of the incident.
After the information was published, a woman called us claiming that the driver had “fainted” and that “no one helped him” after the incident. She added that “yes, the speed limit may have been exceeded.” She said she was a close relative, that she had been at the scene, but did not want to identify herself.
