Patyk Hałka officially already performs the duties of head of Gromadka Municipality. On 22 June, the activist ceremonially received the document entrusting him with the duties of mayor from the hands of the deputy head of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office Jarosław Kresy.

Until the early election for mayor of Gromadka Municipality, the duties of head of the municipality will be performed by Patryk Hałka from Nowogrodziec, an associate of MP Szymon Pogoda from Law and Justice.

Who will run for mayor?

As many as four election committees have registered:

  • Voters’ Election Committee – Ewa Potyszka,
  • Lidia Zubal’s Voters’ Election Committee,
  • Ryszard Kawka’s Voters’ Election Committee,
  • Common Municipality–Common Good Voters’ Election Committee.

The candidates for mayor are officially expected to be announced at the end of June.

Let us recall. Gromadka Municipality recently bid farewell to its prematurely deceased head, Dariusz Pawliszczy. On 13 May, the election commissioner in Jelenia Góra terminated the mandate of Gromadka’s long-serving mayor. (This decision was delivered to the Lower Silesian Voivode and the chair of the Gromadka Municipal Council.)

The date of the first round of the mayoral election was also set: 24 July.
