The meeting of the County Social Council for Persons with Disabilities took place on 8 June 2022 at the County Office headquarters and provided an opportunity to meet after many months of isolation and remote work. The Bolesławiec County Governor, Tomasz Gabrysiak, who was present at the meeting, thanked the Council members for attending and expressed hope for a return to in-person meetings and the effective implementation of tasks.
At the meeting, the Council elected its presidium, comprising: Marian Kostecki – Chair of the Council, Łukasz Januszke – Deputy Chair of the Council, and Maria Długoszewska – Secretary of the Council.
The Council members familiarised themselves with information about activities undertaken in 2021 for communities of persons with disabilities. They positively assessed the implementation of the Programme of Activities for Persons with Disabilities.
Katarzyna Grzelczyk, Head of the Department of Civil, Social and Health Affairs, Katarzyna Grzelczyk presented the Council with information about PFRON funds spent in 2021 and in the first quarter of 2022 on tasks related to the vocational and social rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.
