The sports infrastructure in the towns of Nowogrodziec and Zebrzydowa will be modernized. Local authorities:
The value of the signed contract is PLN 7 million 626 thousand, including:
- construction of a sports facility building at the municipal stadium in Nowogrodziec – investment value: PLN 6 million 150 thousand;
- modernization of the sports field in Zebrzydowa, investment value: PLN 1 million 476 thousand.
What will be done in Nowogrodziec?
- As part of the construction of the sports facility building in Nowogrodziec, the existing container building will be dismantled and disposed of. A new two-storey building of similar dimensions to the existing one will be built in its place.
- A ramp for people with disabilities and external stairs will be located next to the building.
- A new power line, water connection and sanitary sewage connection will be installed.
- A new internal power line supplying the stadium lighting system will also be installed.
- The paved area and access routes to the stadium will be restored next to the building.
- New parking spaces will be designated, including spaces for people with disabilities.
- On the ground floor of the sports facility building, a changing-room complex for players and referees with sanitary facilities, a sports equipment storage room, social and laundry facilities, a maintenance storeroom, an office, toilets accessible from outside the building, a garage and boiler rooms have been designed.
Moreover, the first floor will contain a conference room for 30 people, a gym and an exercise room – fitness/gymnastics/warm-up – together with a changing-room complex and sanitary facilities, a massage room and a reception area.
What will be done in Zebrzydowa?
- The modernization of the sports field in Zebrzydowa will involve constructing a new field with a total length of 110 m and a width of 70 m. (The playing area will measure 64 x 100 m.)
- A new irrigation system for the football field will also be installed. (The existing deep well and rainwater tank will be used for this purpose.)
- Professional football goals will be installed on the goal lines.
- Ball-stop nets measuring 2 x 50 m and 8 m high will be installed behind the goal lines.
- The field will have a natural sports-grass surface sown on a properly prepared base. The office: – The area adjacent to the west, east and south will be leveled, and grass identical to that on the football field will be sown.
The municipality adds: – The project will begin in June 2022 and will take between 18 months and 2 years.
