The school grounds looked very festive that day; they were bustling, colorful and cheerful. The main aim of the event was to integrate the school community with the local community.
Thanks to the favorable weather, attendance and attractions, this aim was fully achieved. Families with children, teachers, administrative and support staff, invited guests, students from the city’s primary schools and children from preschools took part in the picnic. The organizers had prepared many attractions for them:
- a raffle,
- competitions with prizes,
- fun on recreational equipment,
- music-and-movement activities.
The bouncy castle, balloon animals and the stand with colorful braids attracted great interest. The children’s painted faces looked beautiful throughout the picnic. To replenish their energy, all participants could enjoy grilled sausages and kaszanka, French fries, and homemade cake and waffles for dessert.
Both children and adults had a great time, and the greatest success proved to be the smiles on their faces.
Events of this kind have a positive effect on strengthening family bonds, integrate parents with the institution, and are also an excellent opportunity to spend free time actively and healthily outdoors.
