The video shows police officers holding a man against the hood of a patrol car. People gather around them, shouting vulgar chants. Later, the crowd chants, “let him go!”. At one point, one of the aggressive men runs up to the police officers and kicks an officer while jumping. The crowd chants, “leave the fan alone!” and sings, “you f*cking whore, leave the fan alone”. The police use pepper spray. Bottles are thrown toward the patrol car.
So far, the police have provided no new information about the case apart from the fact that a total of five people have been detained.
– A total of five people have been detained. Today, the court did not make any decisions concerning detention for the people detained in connection with Friday’s attack on police officers – says Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press spokesperson for the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters.
Let us recall that the incident took place on Friday, June 3, at around 10:00 p.m. in Bolesławiec, Lower Silesia. A police patrol was intervening on Partyzantów Avenue. The officers were attacked by a group of young men. One of the officers was injured. The police called for reinforcements and pursued the attackers.
