On Friday, 30 April, the district-level qualifiers for the 5th National Festival of Songs about Health were held in the auditorium of the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec. This year’s edition of the competition was organised by the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Bolesławiec and the Youth Cultural Centre. The performers were evaluated by a jury consisting of: Jolanta Boroch, Teresa Rudzińska, Cezariusz Rudyk and Marek Łętowski.
The performers presented one original song each. In the preschool category, the team from MPP No. 7 in Bolesławiec and Milena Pawłowska from the preschool in Nowogrodziec shared first place. The team from MPP No. 3 in Bolesławiec and the team from the Primary School in Kraśnik Dolny shared second place.
In the primary-school category, the team from the Primary School in Gierałtów won first place. The team from the Primary School in Warta Bolesławiecka took second place, while the team from Primary School No. 2 in Bolesławiec came third.
In the middle-school category, the team from GS No. 2 in Bolesławiec won. The team from GS No. 3 came second.
The winners in the primary- and middle-school categories advanced to the regional stage, which will be held in May this year.
