The incident occurred after 9 p.m. on Mostowa Street in Bolesławiec. According to a witness, the Mercedes driver, a well-known Bolesławiec musician, lost control of the car, ran off the road and hit a tree.
The man fled the scene of the accident, leaving the keys in the ignition. Documents were found in the car, probably belonging to the driver.
