On May 16, the president of the municipal company fell ill during the funeral of village head Dariusz Pawliszczy and was taken to a hospital in Legnica. He had suffered a stroke, and his condition was very serious. He died on the evening of May 18.
Władysław Bakalarz had been president of the Municipal Communal Services Management Company for many years. He was also a councillor of Bolesławiec County and was recently elected deputy chair of the County Council. He was also a member of the Bolesławiec Economic Society.
President of Bolesławiec Piotr Roman presented the story of Władysław Bakalarz in his eulogy. Numerous delegations from municipal utility companies from various parts of Poland attended the funeral ceremony. Representatives of local government authorities from the region, city and county councillors, employees of municipal companies, and the deceased’s friends and relatives were also present.
Władysław Bakalarz would have turned 67 in June.
