BKS Bolesławiec’s first team returned to winning ways. On Saturday (21 May), coach Sebastian Tylutki’s players defeated Iskra Łagów 6–0 (3–0) away from home in the 27th round of the Saller Regional League. Our boys were the better side from the start and fully deserved to take all three points. We created several good chances early in Saturday’s match, but lacked a clinical finish.
We took the lead in the 31st minute when Kamil Skiba shot from the right. The ball also deflected off an Iskra defender and went into the net. Three minutes later, Kamil Skiba scored again, converting a good pass from Maciej Szewczyk. Just before half-time, well positioned in the penalty area, Jacek Bochnia increased our lead from close range (assist by Jakub Rissmann), making it 3–0 to our team at the break.
The course of the game did not change after the interval. Our boys looked for more goals, while the ambitious hosts tried to thwart our plans. In the 50th minute, Marek Majka, introduced at half-time, struck nicely at the Iskra Łagów goal. The goalkeeper managed to parry the ball, but was helpless when Jakub Rissmann followed up, making it 4–0 for BKS.
Six minutes later, Marcin Piaśnik, making his debut for our team that day, provided an assist, heading the ball to Karol Borowski. Popularly known as Boro, he put us 5–0 ahead with a fine shot. The final goal of Saturday’s match was scored by Maciej Szewczyk, who once again confidently converted a penalty awarded by the referee.
BKS Bolesławiec ultimately won 6–0, and hopefully returned to the winning path. This Saturday, we have an extraordinary match awaiting us for many reasons. At Spółdzielcza, we will host Gryf Gryfów Śląski. It will be an opportunity to celebrate promotion to the fourth division and play a charity match for Chrupek.
