The investment involves constructing a new stormwater drainage network for the former POM area, along with discharging the water into the Bóbr River. Its scope includes the construction of 370.04 metres of stormwater drainage, including a sewage channel, as well as drainage system components: prefabricated manholes, storm drains, service connections, a vortex settling tank and a lamella separator in a manhole.

The works also include reconstruction of the existing outlet to the Bóbr River, as well as restoration and repair of the road and pavement surfaces.

The contractor is Sigma Projekty-Instalacje from Bolesławiec. The cost of the construction works is PLN 904,050.

The works are financed as part of the project “Improving flood safety for the City of Bolesławiec through the modernization and expansion of the rainwater management system,” implemented under the Regional Operational Programme of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship 2014–2020 and co-financed by the European Union and the European Regional Development Fund, project no. RPDS.04.05.01-02-0014/19. The subsidy amounts to 84.99%. The remaining funds come from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec.

The project is scheduled for completion by 20 July this year.
