Classes are conducted by PCPR employees in Bolesławiec—two trainers in family-based forms of foster care—in accordance with the “RODZINA” Training Programme licensed by the Stowarzyszenie Rodzin Adopcyjnych i Zastępczych ,,Pro Familia” in Kraków.

Powiatowe Centrum Pomocy Rodzinie: – Currently, 11 people are taking part in the training, including 5 married couples and 1 single person. All participants in this year’s training are families that have already been serving as non-professional foster families for some time. During the training, they can deepen their existing knowledge while also gaining many new guidelines essential to care and upbringing..

During the weekly meetings, participants learn about the specifics of foster-family functioning based on a training programme delivered through several thematic blocks. The meetings take the form of lectures, exercises and workshops.

Through working in small groups, training participants can test the knowledge they have already acquired and learn about the specifics of foster parenting, as well as the problems and tasks they face. PCPR: – Everyone is engaged and willingly takes part in the training sessions, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere full of trust and mutual support. The meetings are filled with many contrasting emotions—inevitable tears of emotion, anger, fear and uncertainty—but these are effectively overshadowed by laughter, joy, satisfaction and hope..

Powiat: – We invite people willing to share their hearts and create a sense of security for children deprived of the care and upbringing of their biological parents by serving as foster families..
