We invite everyone interested in foster care, and especially candidates for a professional foster family serving as an emergency foster family.

An “emergency foster family” temporarily takes in children awaiting court decisions concerning their future. Such families are ready to accept a child at any time – often from one day to the next – and provide safety and care for several weeks or months. Each such family becomes a temporary haven for the child, where they can find shelter and regain hope.

If you feel that you can give a child a “safe haven”

  • contact the Powiatowe Centrum Pomocy Rodzinie w Bolesławcu
  • talk to an employee of the Foster Care Team and check whether you meet all the formal requirements
  • discuss these plans with your immediate family and take your children’s opinions into account

Being a professional foster family is a role that involves a great challenge, but also brings tremendous satisfaction. Helping children who need support is an opportunity to create a better future for them.
