On Saturday, the first eco-walk for guests from Ukraine took place in Bolesławiec.

– We expected 15–20 people to come. There were around 60 in total, including several Poles. In less than two hours, we collected 60 120-liter bags of rubbish in the small forest in Bolesławiec near Matejki Street, plus several items that did not fit into the bags. We would have cleaned up more, but we ran out of bags – says Kinga Gęsicka-Biały, who has been involved in helping people from Ukraine since the very beginning of the war.

After the eco-walk, a barbecue and sausages were waiting for everyone.
