The incident occurred on Monday, 25 April, in the evening, on the premises of the parish house in Ławszowa. A human life was at risk, so firefighters from the nearest OSP units (Ławszowa and Osiecznica) were dispatched to the scene. They were closest to the incident site and, in such circumstances, could arrive faster than the emergency medical team.
Upon arrival, the firefighter-paramedics found a person who was already performing resuscitation on an elderly woman. The firefighters took over the resuscitation efforts and continued them until the emergency medical team arrived. After arriving at the scene, the paramedics continued resuscitation.
Unfortunately, the elderly woman died.
