Wiktoria Parkita, or IKA, is a resident of Osiecznica. She not only sings but also writes the lyrics to the songs she performs. She wrote her first lyrics when she was 9 years old. Last year, her first album, “Sięgając po marzenia,” was released. IKA is currently 13 years old.
The singer-songwriter points out that her previous songs differed from the current one, mainly because they were created at longer intervals. Wiktoria wrote her first song when she was just 9 years old. Over time, the lyrics began to become increasingly serious. Examples include the songs “Mój dom” and “Piosenka na każdy dzień”.
She says this about her latest song and its title, “Szukaj mnie”:
The song is also about me. It presents this perfectly through its contrasting nature, because on the one hand it shows that I am a cool friend, while on the other it shows the gentleness and feistiness that I have and that every girl has.
Anyone can be the audience for this song, but I would like it to reach listeners my age—teenagers. We are the same age and live in similar ways.

I try to write for her. This text motivated me to make it more modern and edgier. The girl is growing up, she is 13, she is in seventh grade, so things are starting to happen, right? And this text motivated me to simply make the first part rap-like, talking about life at school, while the chorus would be smoother and more romantic, because Wiktoria is like that too.
