On March 1, work began on the redevelopment of Karola Miarki and Żwirki i Wigury Streets in Bolesławiec. The old road surface is currently being removed and pavements are being laid. The redevelopment is causing some disruption to traffic, but county residents are understanding. Soon, after all, they will have a new road.

The project is being carried out by a consortium of ABM Pol-Dróg Legnica and Usługi Ogólnobudowlane Wilbud from Krzeszów. As part of the project, road drainage, lighting, roadways, pavements, bus bays and parking areas will be built, along with traffic lights and road signs. The works are scheduled for final completion in November this year.

Among other things, the project aims to improve the connection between the county road and the regional road network, enhance safety and traffic organization, reduce the number of accidents and collisions, and adapt the infrastructure to the needs of people with disabilities.
