A housing estate of so-called senior apartments is to be built in Bolesławiec, on an approximately one-hectare plot next to the modular hospital. – This is an innovative investment – emphasizes Kamil Barczyk, head of the Bolesławiec-based St. Luke’s Hospital.
How many apartments will there be?
The premises of the Healthcare Complex will include 133 senior apartments, which could accommodate nearly 200 people.
As the director of the Healthcare Complex assures, patients will gain safety, specialist care and living conditions guaranteed for the rest of their lives. Interestingly, interest in the offer of St. Luke’s Hospital is already enormous. Although the housing estate has not yet been built, residents are calling the Healthcare Complex and asking about the possibility of reserving an apartment.
Most importantly, the rent will cover not only essential matters such as meals, housekeeping and repairs, but also medical care. What is more, the seniors will be supported by assistants who will be able, for example, to do the shopping or organize an excursion.
How large will the apartments be?
At most two rooms, up to 45 sq m.
When will construction begin?
Work is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2022. The hospital is currently negotiating terms with a bank.
