Starostwo Powiatowe w Bolesławcu and Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury im. Stanisława Wyspiańskiego announce a visual arts competition to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Fryderyk Chopin, Poland’s greatest composer. The competition for a poster promoting the Chopin Year is open to primary school, lower secondary school and upper secondary school students.
Each participant may submit only one entry (made using any technique, in A3–A2 format). Works must be submitted by May 10, 2010 to the office of the Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury im. Stanisława Wyspiańskiego (5 Grunwaldzka Street).
The jury will assess the participants’ works in two age categories:
- primary school students
- lower and upper secondary school students.
The description of the work must include:
- the author’s first and last name
- the title of the work
- the class
- the institution’s name, address, telephone number and email address.
