We are receiving reports from concerned readers that swans and ducks from the municipal pond in Bolesławiec are getting through a hole in the fence on the side of Kubika Street and walking along nearby roads and pavements. Although swans are not aggressive and pose no threat to anyone, they themselves could be hit by a car.
Unfortunately, we have noticed that the gaps in the municipal pond’s fence are not only on the side of Kubika Street (the main photograph). The mesh is worn and has holes in other parts of the fence as well. We appeal to the municipal services to inspect the fence and install mesh wherever it is missing.
