For the next two years Wrocław Główny Railway Station will undergo a thorough modernization. The investment will be co-financed with EU funds, and its cost is PLN 324 million gross. The works are scheduled to be completed by March 2012 at the latest.
The role of the station has been taken over by the freight dispatch building on Sucha Street. Due to difficulties purchasing tickets at the temporary station, Przewozy Regionalne decided to introduce ticket sales on PR trains departing from Wrocław Główny station, without an additional fee. Passengers who wish to buy a ticket on the train should report to the conductor.
