The Ministry of Education and Science selected the university in Legnica to carry out the project “Organisation and Delivery of Two-Semester Postgraduate Further-Education Studies: Family Advisor,” allocating state-budget funds for this purpose as part of a targeted grant. Funding amount: PLN 194,750.00; total project value: PLN 194,750.00.

This means that study participants will not have to pay for their education. The programme will last two semesters and will run from April to December 2022. The course will address broadly understood support for families and children: their rights, including those arising from international conventions; education law; social assistance; preventing domestic violence; conducting consultations and providing advice on resolving family problems; advice on difficulties in caring for and raising children, including children with disabilities; psychological and legal support; and more.

The studies are intended for a broad group of people working in non-family care, education and upbringing environments, including teachers at preschool institutions, schools and community centres; employees of municipal and county family-support centres, juvenile detention facilities and other institutions working with children, pupils and families and their dysfunctions. They are also intended for anyone who, after completing the programme, can help provide support to families, children and pupils.

Applicants may be people who hold higher-education qualifications confirmed by a diploma—a bachelor’s, engineering or master’s degree. More details are available at www.ack.collegiumwitelona.pl , tel. 76 723 23 62.

The deadline for submitting documents is 5 April 2022.
