Adam Niedzielski, the health minister in Mateusz Morawiecki’s government, was asked about lifting the obligation to wear face masks. The minister said:
The prospect of lifting this obligation is the beginning of April. But I caution that this prospect may always change.
He immediately added:
We are also considering lifting mandatory COVID-19 isolation and quarantine together with the obligation to wear face masks. This will be the moment when COVID-19 is incorporated into the systemic framework.
How would this be resolved?
The minister explained that if the restrictions are lifted, a person who becomes infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus will receive a “regular sick note.” (They will not have to arrange anything with the sanitary authorities).
Whether these solutions will take effect, and when, remains to be seen. (The full interview with Minister A. Niedzielski is available on fakt.pl). What do you think? We invite you to join the discussion.
