The ceremony took place on 8 March in Bolesławiec’s Hall of Councillors. It was hosted by the president of the Municipal HDK–PCK Club, Roman Bodak. The mayor of Bolesławiec, Piotr Roman, also attended the meeting. He extended his wishes to the women, while also thanking them for their active blood and blood-component donations.
The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss current topics, including the ongoing war in Ukraine and assistance for refugees.
It is worth recalling on this occasion that in January the location of the Mobile Blood Collection Point (ambulance) in Bolesławiec changed. The ambulance of the Regional Blood Donation and Blood Treatment Centre moved from Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square (BOK–MCC) in Bolesławiec to the area in front of the Admissions Room of the Voivodeship Hospital for the Nervously and Mentally Ill on Tysiąclecia Avenue (access through the hospital’s main gate). At the new location, donors can use free parking spaces, as well as a waiting room with a toilet.
