We can find a moving video and post on the Facebook page of Salam Lab laboratorium Pokoju. The film was recorded at the Assistance Point on Radziwiłłowska Street in Kraków. Glory to the Ukrainian Heroines! Support aid efforts for the Ukrainian community on ZRZUTCE.
"They were the ones who, as soon as the first bombs were dropped on Ukrainian cities, gathered their families and organized an escape from the country.
They were the ones who, with crying children in their arms and older relatives—grandmothers, grandfathers and parents—waited for hours on the platform for a train to Lviv.
Mothers, wives, daughters and granddaughters—every one of them would give everything for her own country and loved ones.
Ukrainian heroines.
What do they—the refugees from Ukraine whom we met at our Assistance Point at 3 Radziwiłłowska Street—wish for themselves and other women on Women’s Day?
Listen for yourselves.
Until the end of this week, the content published on Salam Lab’s social media will focus primarily on women. Taking advantage of this special day of the year, when all eyes are turned toward women, we will give a voice to refugees, migrants and activists from around the world.
Stay with us!"
