Adam Niedzielski, head of the Ministry of Health in Mateusz Morawiecki’s government, said that there are 27 reception points operating in the Republic of Poland, each of which has a medical assistance point.

The government has 7,000 places for treating Ukrainian citizens in 120 hospitals designated by the voivodes.

The minister added that every Ukrainian has the opportunity to receive medical assistance, and that reimbursement of medicines is to take place on the same terms as for citizens of the Republic of Poland.

Ukrainian citizens will also be guaranteed access to vaccinations, not only against COVID-19.
