A reader informed us this morning that a streetlight had collapsed on Łukasiewicza Street in Bolesławiec. The website The Bad Bunzlauer also reported on the matter:

This raises the question of whether Bolesławiec’s streetlights are properly secured. Especially since a similar situation occurred on Asnyka Street more than a month ago. At the time, we wrote:

The incident took place on Thursday, January 13, on Asnyka Street in Bolesławiec, near the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre. In the morning, a streetlight collapsed; fortunately, no one was injured.
