This concerns the terrorizing of residents of the apartment blocks on Parkowa Street in Bolesławiec by a homeless man (a former tenant [...]). The individual camps out in stairwells, usually under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances. He causes disturbances, shouts at night and insults police officers through the windows of the buildings. He is very well known to law enforcement authorities.
The woman added:
Most residents are elderly and are afraid of the troublesome pseudo-tenant. This person accosts children in the park, and most people are afraid of him. When called to intervene, the police take him downstairs in the elevator and that is all, while he keeps returning. The situation has been continuing for quite some time, and the man still poses a threat to the residents’ safety.
We asked the police about the matter. Senior Police Sergeant Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters:
Since the beginning of the year, we have received several reports concerning a homeless person located in a building’s stairwell. During the interventions, the person left the building.
She further explains:
According to the police officers’ findings, the man is let into the buildings by residents who are his acquaintances.
