As we read in the Bolesławiec City Hall Public Information Bulletin:
We hereby inform you that, as a result of the completion of the recruitment procedure for the aforementioned position, [sekretarza Miasta Bolesławiec – przyp. istotne.pl] Ms Małgorzata Słonecka, residing in Osiecznica, has been selected.
Małgorzata Słonecka previously served as secretary of the Osiecznica Municipality. Congratulations.
Let us recall that we recently reported that, at the end of the January session of the Bolesławiec City Council, secretary Jerzy Zieliński announced that he was retiring:
I wanted to say goodbye. This is the last time I am attending a City Council session in this role. Nearly 7,000 days of work in this position are coming to an end. It is time to rest, time to retire.
He informed the councillors that, as of February 8, he hoped to be a “happy retiree.” He also added:
It was a great privilege and honor for me to work with successive councils during successive terms. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Council chair Józef Pokładek announced that local-government officials would formally thank the long-serving secretary for his work at the next City Council meeting.
