In 2021, several applications for sports scholarships were submitted to the council office, unfortunately after the deadline specified in the scholarship regulations. Because information about the deadlines for submitting scholarship applications did not reach all interested people, scholarships for the 2020/2021 school year were not awarded.
Nevertheless, the councillors decided to reward the students and, by Resolution No. XLI/324 /22 of 28 January 2022, amended the regulations so that sports scholarships could be awarded for results achieved in the previous school year; they also specified the rules for awarding them in 2022.
The schedule of activities is as follows:
- Applications for sports scholarships for the previous school year should be submitted at the Gromadka Municipal Office from 28 February to 14 March.
- Applications will be considered by 25 March, and awarded scholarships will be paid from April through August inclusive, once a month.
To prevent an application from being rejected, applicants should follow the scholarship regulations, paying particular attention to the required attachments and submitting the application on the correct form.
People wishing to obtain an academic or sports scholarship for the current school year should submit an application by 10 September of that year. The Municipal Council intends for scholarships to be awarded annually. Links to the scholarship regulations can be found below:
