An ambulance, fire service and police arrived at the scene following a report that a woman in a block of flats on B. Kosiba Street might have been poisoned by gas in the bathroom. The woman was taken to hospital.

Preliminary findings indicate that carbon monoxide poisoning occurred. The 61-year-old woman remains in hospital after the incident. Four residents are expected to return home after undergoing examinations. Firefighters checked other apartments in the block. No threat to residents was detected.
