The incident occurred on Thursday, February 3, after 7:00 a.m. in Parowa. As a reader informed us:
[...] at 7:22 a.m. it was already impossible to get through; the road was blocked and it was necessary to take a detour.
According to police findings, the 43-year-old Volkswagen driver crossed into the opposite lane on a bend and collided with an Audi traveling correctly in its lane, in which a woman and a small child were traveling. Both the Audi driver and the little boy were taken to hospital. It is not yet known how serious their injuries are.
Police are establishing the cause of the incident.
