A five-member team from Klub Pływacki Masters Bolesławiec performed successfully at the 14th international swimming competition, held on 13 and 14 March in the German town of Gera. Andrzej Daszyński competed in the 400- and 200-metre freestyle events, winning a silver and a gold medal. He finished fourth in the 200-metre individual medley and was the first to finish the 200-metre butterfly event. Ewa Cygan won a bronze medal in the 50-metre event.

Dorota Bernat finished 10th in the 400-metre freestyle. In her second event—the 50-metre breaststroke, one length of the pool—she finished 12th. In her third race, the 100-metre freestyle, she placed 15th. Jacek Patera finished fifth in the 400-metre freestyle. He completed the 100-metre freestyle in sixth place. On the second day of competition, he won two bronze medals in the 50- and 200-metre freestyle events. Marcin Klimkowski also competed outside the classification. He swam in the 50-metre breaststroke. A total of 369 swimmers from 10 clubs in the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria and Germany took part in the competition in Germany.
