In connection with the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border, speculation has emerged that US Army soldiers may be withdrawn from our country. In an interview with Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, Bix Aliu, chargé d’affaires of the United States in Poland, addressed the issue:
A few days ago, there was widespread talk that the United States was allegedly going to withdraw its troops from the eastern flank, including from Poland. This is obviously untrue, as we have already said.
And he added:
I will repeat once again, so there is no doubt: if Russia attacks Ukraine, we will strengthen NATO’s eastern flank. And we will impose sanctions such as Moscow has never experienced before.
