Very often, filling the lips with a hyaluronic acid preparation is performed to moisturize them, gently correct lip asymmetry, rejuvenate them, or make them fuller. The procedure also reduces the so-called “marionette lines,” namely drooping corners of the mouth. Below are answers to the questions most frequently asked by our clients.

1. Should I be concerned about an exaggerated result?
When choosing a trustworthy doctor or a reputable clinic, there is no reason for concern. The result depends on the amount of preparation used during the procedure. It is important to discuss your expectations regarding the results of the procedure in detail during the medical consultation. To refresh or contour the lips, 0.5–1 ml of the preparation is very often sufficient.
2. How long will the result last?
The result of the procedure lasts from 6 to 12 months; afterward, the preparation is naturally metabolized by the body.
3. How should I prepare for the procedure?
There is no need for any special preparation for lip augmentation. The procedure is preceded by the administration of local anesthesia, so no additional tests are necessary—any potential issues are clarified during the consultation with the doctor at the clinic. The procedure can be performed immediately after the consultation.
4. When will I see the first results?
Immediately after the procedure, the lips are already visibly fuller, although slight swelling may also occur. The final result of the procedure is visible at least 5 days after it has been performed. During this time, avoiding sun exposure is recommended. I recommend that patients attend a follow-up visit 4 weeks after the procedure.
5. How much does the procedure cost?
The price of the procedure depends on the amount of preparation used and starts at PLN 1,000. In May, lip augmentation can be performed with a 30% discount.
6. Are the preparations used for the procedure safe?
All preparations used at our clinic are of the highest quality and are supported by many years of research confirming their safety. The same applies to lip augmentation—hyaluronic acid is one of the safest fillers because it occurs naturally in the human body.
7. Natural lip augmentation—is it possible?
Lip augmentation or contouring using currently popular methods such as suction or cosmetics that irritate the delicate skin of the lips is unfortunately impossible in the long term. All such solutions produce a temporary effect and may be harmful not only to beauty but also to health.
