Registration for COVID-19 vaccinations for children aged 5–11
- For children aged 5–11, the Comirnaty™ vaccine 10 μg/dose by Pfizer-BioNTech is used.
- Because the Comirnaty (Pfizer-BioNTech) vaccine does not contain the virus in order to produce immunity, administering the vaccine cannot cause COVID-19.
How is the Comirnaty (Pfizer-BioNTech) vaccine administered to children aged 5–11?
- After dilution, the Comirnaty (Pfizer-BioNTech) vaccine is administered as a 0.2 ml injection into the muscle of the upper arm.
- The patient will receive 2 injections. It is recommended that the second dose of the same vaccine be administered 3 weeks after the first dose to complete the vaccination course.
Vaccination registration:
tel. 75 738 02 03.
