The match between Miedź II Legnica and BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec scheduled for Sunday (21 March) will not take place. The Lower Silesian Football Association accepted the Legnica club’s request and decided to postpone the match. The reason is the poor condition of the pitch in Legnica. DZPN will set a date for the postponed match at its meeting on 25 March. The capricious weather means that fans will have to wait until the last weekend of March for the first match of the spring round of the Lower Silesian fourth division. On 27 March (Saturday) at 4:00 p.m. BKS will face Polonia Środa Śląska at home.
Friendly match against Vitrosilicon Iłowa
BKS’s senior team will play an additional friendly match on Saturday (20 March). The Bolesławiec side’s opponent will be third-tier Vitrosilicon Iłowa. The match will be played at 11:00 a.m., probably at the Water and Sports Centre pitch on Spacerowa Street (the pitch on Rajska Street is also being considered). The teams drew 1:1 in their February match.
New players at BKS
Several new players will appear in BKS’s senior team in the upcoming spring round. The defence will be strengthened by Paweł Płachta from Chojnowianka Chojnów and Kamil Kozak, a Podbeskidzie Bielsko Biała academy graduate. Coach Leszek Dulat will also have Łukasz Graczyk at his disposal – a striker from Car Bon Trzebień. The following players have returned to the team: Radosław Szajwaj, Krzysztof Szymański and Sebastian Łokaj. More information on the club’s website.
