Shortly before 4 a.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2021, the police duty officer in Lwówek Śląski received a report of a road collision in Orłowice near Mirsk. A patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene.
At the scene, it turned out that the 24-year-old driver of the Audi had failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions. The car ran off the road. The driver was probably under the influence of intoxicants. Blood was taken from the man for testing.
In addition to the driver, the car was also carrying a 17-year-old girl who had previously gone missing and was being sought by the police. Fortunately, the girl did not suffer any serious injuries. After being examined, she was placed in her parents’ care.
