The European Commission adopted regulations on 21 December concerning the EU Digital COVID Certificate, establishing a “binding period during which vaccination certificates will be accepted for travel within the EU.” It will be 9 months (exactly 270 days). EU officials:

A clear and uniform period for accepting certificates will guarantee that travel-related measures remain coordinated, as called for by the European Council at its latest meeting on 16 December 2021. The new rules are intended to ensure that restrictions are introduced on the basis of the best available scientific evidence and objective criteria. Coordination is essential for the functioning of the single market and will provide clarity to EU citizens exercising their right to free movement.

They also add:

The EU Digital COVID Certificate has proven effective. The certificate continues to make it easier for citizens to travel safely throughout the European Union during the pandemic. So far, 807 million certificates have been issued in the EU. The EU Digital COVID Certificate has become a global standard: to date, 60 countries and territories on five continents have joined the system.

On Wednesday, 22 December, Ministry of Health spokesperson Wojciech Andrusiewicz commented on the matter:

The EC regulation from yesterday states that COVID certificates will be valid for a period of 9 months starting from 1 February. COVID certificates issued after full vaccination will be valid for 9 months. The Minister of Health has decided that in Poland, certificates issued after an additional vaccination, following a booster dose, will also be valid for 9 months from 1 February.

And he added:

From 1 February, both the certificate issued after full vaccination and the certificate issued after a booster vaccination will be valid for 9 months.
