Jadwiga Sokołowska died at the age of 90. Until the end of her life, she ran her business and watchmaking shop in Bolesławiec at Prusa Street (under the clock).
She founded the shop with her husband Jerzy, a master watchmaker, in May 1960, and this year marked 61 years of its existence. Jadwiga continued to come to the shop practically until the end of her life, replacing batteries and selling watches.
Jadwiga Sokołowska’s funeral will take place on Saturday, December 18, at 12:00 at the cemetery in Bolesławiec.
