Barbara Smoleńska, head of the Bolesławiec branch of the Towarzystwo Miłośników Lwowa i Kresów Południowo-Wschodnich and coordinator of the collection:

Using the collected food, members of the Towarzystwo Miłośników Lwowa i Kresów Południowo-Wschodnich prepared packages and, through a volunteer who is a resident of Zbarazh, delivered them to Zbarazh. On behalf of the residents of Bolesławiec, Christmas gifts for schools, parishioners of the Roman Catholic Church and other friends in Zbarazh were delivered by Piotr Bajdecki, president of the Polish Cultural and Educational Society “Zbaraż”.

He adds:

We delivered 130 food packages which, in addition to food and Christmas greetings, contained the warm and caring hearts of the residents of our town.

And she adds:

On my own behalf and on behalf of the society’s members, I would like to thank the young people and their supervisors. Your participation in preparing the Christmas packages helps build friendships between people, which can lead to good relations between nations.
