Unfortunately, the horse chestnut tree cannot be saved because the inside of the tree is completely rotten.

They add:

The examination was carried out using a probe. The tree’s condition is not expected to improve and poses a danger on the road.

The felling is taking place after permission was obtained from the Bolesławiec County Office. A new tree is planned to be planted in place of the horse chestnut later this year. An elm (var. camperdownii) will be planted beside the “office building.”
