On Wednesday, March 10, traffic police officers carried out the “Truck” operation. The officers inspected 72 vehicles. They seized 37 registration certificates (mainly due to the poor technical condition of the vehicles) and issued 42 fines (including 20 for speeding).
The officers checked, among other things, the technical condition of the vehicles, the drivers’ sobriety and whether they complied with working-time regulations.
In recent years, the number of accidents involving buses and trucks has risen sharply. The preventive “Truck” operation aims to improve the safety of road users.
