The incident took place on Monday, 15 November. As reported by the officers from Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna in Gromadka:
[...] at 10:35 p.m., we were dispatched to a barn fire in the village of Wierzbowa.
The fire was extinguished. Fortunately, no one was injured. Firefighters from Gromadka, Różyniec, Wierzbowa and Bolesławiec, as well as a police patrol, took part in the operation. The latter is investigating the case.
