At the monument commemorating the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence, Bolesławiec County Governor Tomasz Gabrysiak, together with Chairman of the Bolesławiec County Council Ryszard Kawka, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Cezary Przybylski, Member of Parliament Małgorzata Sekuła-Szmajdzińska, Deputy Mayor of Bolesławiec Renata Szewczyk, as well as representatives of the County Council, City Council, associations, organizations, delegations from towns and municipalities, uniformed services and students, laid flowers.

That day, as part of the Independence Day celebrations, a Holy Mass for the Homeland was also celebrated at the Bolesławiec Marian Basilica.

After the ceremony at the monument, residents were offered attractions including a procession by the Mounted Patrol of the Historical Reconstruction Group of the 6th Kaniowscy Lancers Regiment through the town’s market square, accompanied by historical figures.

The frame featuring the hashtag #Narodowe Święto Niepodległości proved hugely popular, with county residents eagerly taking photographs with it.
