The ceremony was attended by the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Cezary Przybylski, Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Małgorzata Sekuła-Szmajdzińska. Delegations from the city and county, scout delegations, and flag-bearing delegations from schools and institutions were present, along with the Honour Guard Company of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment and residents of Bolesławiec.

During the ceremony in Bolesławiec, those gathered sang the national anthem and listened to a speech by Tomasz Gabrysiak, starost of Bolesławiec County. An Independence Remembrance Roll Call was held, followed by a ceremonial volley. Students from the military-profile class of the Second General Secondary School in Bolesławiec were also sworn in.

A mounted patrol of the Historical Reconstruction Group of the 6th Kaniow Uhlan Regiment was presented in Bolesławiec’s market square. Flowers and wreaths were laid at the monument.
