Jelenia Góra criminal investigators detained a 38-year-old man suspected of robbery involving a dangerous weapon. “As officers established, the incident occurred on September 10 this year on one of the streets in Jelenia Góra. The attacker approached the victim, and a disagreement arose between them, the cause of which was money,” explains junior asp. Aleksandra Pieprzycka from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. “As a consequence of this situation, the attacker stabbed the other man with a knife and then took 70 zlotys from him.”
Fortunately, the assaulted man was not seriously injured. Spokesperson:
Officers notified of the robbery began searching for the perpetrator. Based on the information collected in the case and an analysis of surveillance-camera footage, they identified and detained the 38-year-old as a suspect in committing the crime.
The aggressor was taken to police custody. He could now face up to 15 years in prison.
