The Municipal Office and the “Agora” Bookshop invite you to a meeting with Rafał Bubnicki, author of a book-length interview with Cardinal Henryk Gulbinowicz entitled “From Vilnius to Wrocław.” The meeting will be hosted by Jan Stolarczyk.
The book was published in 2008. It presents one of the most important figures in the Polish Church of the 20th century. In it, the author compiled interviews and reports published in “Rzeczpospolita” between 1995 and 2005. Rafał Bubnicki’s book is a vivid portrait of Gulbinowicz. It shows the religious and social dimensions of the cardinal’s activities and the role he played in Poland’s recent history. The mayor of Wrocław, Rafał Dutkiewicz, wrote a very personal foreword for it.
The meeting will take place at the Wedding Palace in the Town Hall on Thursday, 4 March, at 5:00 p.m..
